More retro cartoon goodness:
All The Cats Join In from Disney’s Make Mine Music (1946).
Make Mine Music is one of four “package films” comprised of shorts set to music that Walt Disney Studios produced during WWII as a means of keeping the feature animation department alive at a time when many of the animators were enlisted and the shorts department had been tasked by the U.S. government with producing propaganda films.
“All the Cats Join In” is performed by Benny Goodman and the Pied Pipers. The segment was directed by Jack Kinney (who also directed one of the more popular propaganda films, Der Fuehrer’s Face). Disney legend Fred Moore designed the characters.
