I love that the frumpy-ish one is standing there looking bored, in a dark and uninteresting dress, her curls disheveled, holding a book, and the prim miss (the younger, more promisingly attractive sister?) is seated luxuriously, in virginal white with a fur stole, hair perfectly coiffed and lubed, staring intently out of the portrait as if to say, “See, I’m pretty enough to marry. I’m not a book-reading dweeb like split-ends McGee back here.”
Bitch.
